6. Send out invitations  

Choose a colour or a theme and try to use it for invitations, menu, guest book, seating table,...

Try to be creative, do them on your own or go to a professional, but try always to give them your touch.

Think about your guests and the kind of wedding you would like: choose formal or informal, classic or modern, rustic or city fashion,...

 
7. Get the gown 

Start looking early, months before the wedding. This way you will have plenty of time to make a selection and take care of fitting. In most religions, it is traditional that the mother of both the groom, and bride comes to find the dress, as well as the maid of honour.  But please, always remember that is YOUR wedding and that it will be on YOUR body...

8. Choose wedding rings

This is one of the pleasure of the wedding organization, a fun task to do together.
The rings symbolize the devotion to each other. Symple is always a good choise, but today you'll find many different design. 

9. Find a photographer/videographer

 Consider a professional for this special occasion. Go to visit his studio, ask to look at his portfolio to be sure you like his style. Feel free to ask about his cameras, to know if the pictures will be digital or not (some professionals still prefer the old cameras) and about the final work (ask to see wich kind of book you can choose).
This is the best wayso that you don't have to worry aout forgetting your weddings for years to come.

10. Choose a Restaurant or a place with catering.

Decide what type of food and refreshment you will offer at reception dinner. Try to find a happy medium between what would please your guests and what you can afford.
Choose the location (not too far from the celebration place is a good idea, your guest will be happier) and consider the opportunity to hire a place (many castels and manor houses do that) with a professional caterer.
